Strawberry Lemonade Slushie

Amaranth Tabouli

Tabouli is a great summertime recipe. It’s easy to make ahead of time, stores well for an extended period of time, is easy to take on picnics, and is a refreshing addition to any meal. Most tabouli are made with couscous or quinoa, but the use of amaranth (an ancient grain) is a welcome change I think you’ll enjoy.

Nothing is better on a hot summer day than an ice cold popsicle. They’re so easy to make to, as long as you think a little ahead. Feel free to experiment with different fruit in this one. The coconut adds just the right amount of creaminess to make these seem decadent.

Grilled Watermelon

Putting watermelon on the grill isn’t the first thing I would’ve thought of but the grill was there and I figured, why not. It’s delicious! The best thing about it is the fresh flavors paired with the caramelization from the grill. It’s a new must for us at family barbecues.
